How To Do Plank-To-Knee Tap

Plank-To-Knee Tap Is A Bodyweight Exercise That Strengthens Abs, Shoulders, Triceps, Chest, Core
In this exercise you’ll begin in a down plank position, and then move up and down from the down plank to a pike position. Finally returning to the down plank. You’ll be reaching diagonally to touch your knee.
From the down plank, slowly draw your tailbone up toward the ceiling, and move into a pike position. As you move upward, tap your right hand on your left knee. Return to the down plank position and place your hand on the mat. Move up into the pike and tap your left hand to your right knee. Return to the plank position and place your hand on the mat. Completing a total of 4 taps is one round.
Modification: Don’t reach diagonally. When tapping your right knee, use your right hand instead of your left hand.

How To Do Seated Resistance Band Rows Outdoors

Unsupported Outdoor Resistance Band Rows
The Resistance Band is a portable, lightweight piece of fitness equipment that you can take anywhere. In this video, the resistance band is wrapped around a nearby tree. Any other stable object will also work. Unsupported Rowing builds upper back, core and bicep strength. Maintain a straight back, and avoid lifting shoulders upward.
Modification:1) If you have difficulty keeping your back straight, bend both knees at right angles, with feet flat. 2) Use less resistance.

Virtual Fitness: How To Do Fitball Bridge

Fitball Bridge

The Fitball Bridge is a bodyweight strength trtaining exercise that improves balance while working the gluteals, and core stabilizers.
INSTRUCTIONS: Lie on your back. Place the ball under your legs. Using your arms for support, slowly push your back off the mat until your knees are in line with your hips. Exhale as you push upward. Inhale as you lower yourself down to start position. The goal of this exercise is the ability to remain steady while moving up and down.
MODIFICATION: Instead of using the stability ball, bend your knees at right angles, and place both feet on the floor.
VARIATIONS: To increase challenge, move the ball lower down, and place the heels of both feet on the ball. Or, perform the Advanced Fitball Bridge (see Exercise Video Directory).

Virtual Fitness: How To Do A Fitball Abdominal Curl

FITBALL ABDOMINAL CURL

The Fitball Abdominal Curl is a strength training exercise that primarly works the Rectus Abdominis muscle.
INSTRUCTIONS: Lie on the fitball with your feet on the floor. Place fingertips next to your forehead. Bring chin toward chest. Slowly round your back and curl up bringing the bottom ribs toward hip bones. The small of your back remains on the ball when you curl up, as shown in the video.
LEVEL: Ability to remain centered and steady on the fitball. Strong abdominals. Not for beginners.
VARIATION: To increase workload, point elbows outward. Use the strength of your abdominals to curl up, without pulling or yanking your neck.
MODIFICATIONS: 1) Cross arms on chest. 2) Reach arms forward with elbows straight.
CAUTION: To prevent loss of balance, do not allow your feet to lift up off the floor. Wait until you have experience using a fitball, before attempting this exercise.
