At 83 former Beatles drummer, Ringo Starr leads a very healthy lifestyle. For the past 25 years he’s been a vegetarian and maintains a regular workout schedule. His advice is that you’ve got to keep moving.
Ringo has been sober for the past 34 years. At one low point in his life he was drinking 16 bottles of wine daily.

I have a trainer who comes to my home three times a week. And I (work out) myself. On tour, usually I go at least four mornings a week to the gym. Elaine LaLanne, the First Lady of Physical Fitness was born in 1926. She was married to Jack LaLanne (1914-2011), who was known as the God Father of Fitness. He taught millions of people how to get fit while watching his exercise TV show.
She continues to practice her exercise and nutrition regiment and is a real life example of what regular activity and healthy diet can do for quality of life.
In 2017 Elaine LaLanne was inducted into the National Fitness Hall of Fame. At 98 she still exercises everyday in her home gym.
