The word Ayurveda translates to the ‘science of life’. Ayur means life, and veda means science. The practice of Ayurvedic healing methods are considered alternative medicine.
Ayurveda originated in India over 3,000 years ago, and is practiced primarily in India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
