Holiday Pecan Pie Recipe

KITCHEN UTENSILS: 2 Mixing Bowls, 9-Inch Pie Dish,

INGREDIENTS

  • Prepare a pie shell. Set aside.
  • 1/4 cup mild molasses
  • 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 3 medium eggs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 heaping cup broken pecans

INSTRUCTIONS

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs.
  • Add sweetner in a slow stream.
  • Add remainder ingredients except pecans.
  • Lastly, stir in pecans.
  • Pour into pie shell.
  • Bake in 425 oven for 10 minutes.
  • Lower oven temperature to 350 and bake for an additional 25 to 35 minutes.
