East Palestine Residents Demand To Be Evacuated As Testing For Toxic Dioxin Begins

Residents of East Palestine, Ohio continue to speak about health issues following the February 3 Norfolk Southern train derailment. The town is located about 50 miles northwest of Pittsburgh, Pa. The EPA reported that the train was carrying hazardous materials.  It said that vinyl chloride, butyl acrylate, ethylhexyl acrylate and ethylene glycol monobutyl ethers were released into the air, surface soil and surface waters.
