Welcome! I’m Irene Pastore, and I’m passionate about helping active adults 55+ achieve strength, flexibility, balance, and confidence through thoughtfully designed Pilates and Yoga practice.
My approach is grounded in longevity-focused, preventive-aging fitness, combining years of personal experience, academic study, and professional teaching. I know what it’s like to start at the beginner level, and I’ve developed methods to make movement accessible, safe, and enjoyable for every body.
Whether you’re just starting or looking to refine your practice, my goal is to guide you toward vibrant health, mobility, and well-being, while creating a supportive and personalized learning environment.

Irene Pastore started her fitness teaching career in 1996. Her 30-year experience includes teaching in medical facilities, residential and corporate fitness centers, commercial gyms, privately, and online. She has multiple certifications from the ISSA in Personal Training, Senior Fitness, and Exercise Therapy. Irene is also certified in personal training by the NASM. Other significant certifications include NESTA, NPI, Integral Yoga, YogaFit, and Reiki. Her many Pilates trainings include PHI Pilates, and Stott Pilates. She has also studied with the Arthritis Foundation.

My Journey In Pilates & Yoga
As you watch my Home Page demonstration videos, it may look effortless to do Pilates exercises and Yoga poses. But the truth is it wasn’t always that way.

I started at the beginner level, and it took several years of consistent practice to develop the strength, flexibility and coordination I have today. Regular, longevity-focused exercise keeps me in shape and allows me to be a role model for my active-aging clients.
I understand how discouraging it can feel when your body doesn’t perform like it did at 25. The good news is, with consistent practice, you can rebuild strength, improve balance, and regain confidence in your body — no matter your age.

Through my personal exercise journey, academic study, and years of working with active adults 55+, I developed teaching methods that make learning movement accessible and safe. My approach helps students progressively improve strength, balance, coordination, posture, flexibility, and overall vibrant health, supporting their goals in preventive and healthy-aging fitness.
